David provides leadership in the areas of pastoral care, pastoral counseling and referral, recovery and support groups, and men’s ministry at a 2500 member church just north of Austin. He received a D.Min. in Marriage and Family Counseling from Denver Seminary in 2007, a M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological in 1978, and a B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University in 1974. He and Ellen, his wife of for 33 years, have a son in Pittsburgh and a son and daughter-in-law in Alexandria, VA. David and Ellen love antique oak furniture and trips to the mountains, but Ellen does not share his love for bluegrass music.
