Christian Counselors of Texas
Can
benefit counselors and ministers professionally. As a group
we pledge ourselves to integrate the Christian faith into our
daily practice of counseling, doing this in order to fully serve
the needs of the people in our diverse work settings.
CCT believes in Christian
counseling and is dedicated to support Christian counseling
by providing support, training and encouragement to lay persons
and professionals involved in counseling. Counseling that
is Bible based and faith based, is positive and encouraging.
We encourage individual counseling, family counseling, marriage
counseling as well as other specialty counseling. Counseling
is a Biblical concept that offers hope, peace and emotional
healing. Counseling is referred to many times through the
Scriptures.
Counseling can be used by God to minister to damaged
or hurting individuals and families.
What Others Are Saying About CCT...
H. Norman Wright - Licensed Marriage, Family and Child Counselor Certified Trauma Therapist
"This is one of the premiere Christian Counseling organizations in our country. The quality training experiences provided will add both to a person's professional level as well as their spiritual growth. I would highly recommend membership as well as attendance at their conferences."
Gary J. Oliver, Ph.D.- Executive Director The Center for Relationship Enrichment at John Brown University Siloam Springs, AR
"An absolutely vital part of the growth and development of a Christian counselor is continuing education and fellowship with other professionals committed to meaningful integration and clinical excellence. Christian Counselors of Texas provides both. I wish that every state had an organization reflecting the caliber and quality of the Christian Counselors of Texas. If you are a Christian counselor and are committed to excellence in what God has called you to do I would strongly encourage you to consider taking advantage of all that this organization has to offer. Even if you only attend the annual conference you will be better educated, encouraged and enriched."
